  2007 ...here is a video of me combing her hair. OLD camera mainly used for photos with a video option did not film well back then in 2007...colors off and not HD quality but still a nice video. Wide tooth combing hair, gently detangling from the ends and working your way up! ( I promise my hair is not glowing fluorescent yellow as in the video!)

MORE ABOUT SHELLY...This video is an attempt to help my dear friend Shelly.

In the long hair world she is known as "Shelly Rapunzel".

Although she has not been active lately in the long hair world,

she was popular starting in 2006 when I met her.

We became friends and we met a few times and took photos & videos together.

She was a featured model on the old LONG HAIR PORTRAITS hair site around 2006/07.

She was an inspiration for me to grow my hair longer too!

I spent days searching for our old videos and photos from our time together.

THIS VIDEO HAS NEVER BEEN SHARED UNTIL NOW!!

These are precious memories. Like so many people just struggling through life,

she was exposed to covid at work.

Covid hit her hard in August 2020 and she has been very ill for a long time

and unable to work.

Times are hard for many people right now, but I am asking you to consider donating

anything you can towards her mounting medical bills.

I know the help from generous people will really LIFT HER SPIRITS and give her some HOPE.

I am praying her life can return to normal someday with the help of many doctors.

For now I am asking for you to open your hearts and ANYTHING would be appreciated.

I have never asked for anything back after posting videos here,

helping people with hair care questions, opening a website devoted

to long hair and doing it with no compensation whatsoever.

Shelly's story: Back in August of 2020 she got Covid while working and it hit her really hard, she was on oxygen for about 3 months and fevers everyday for 5.5 months with a number of issues including respiratory, neurological, heart and a surgery since. Shes still dealing with a lot of symptoms from Long haulers Covid including losing about half of her hair so far. Fast forward to about May 2021, even though Shelly still couldn't return to work we were starting to see some improvement and maybe a light at the end of the Covid tunnel. However in July 2021 she was diagnosed with a rare Neuromuscular autoimmune called Myasthenia Gravis.
